Importing Shopee Reviews to Shopify Store

Overview​

This guide explains how to import Shopee reviews to your Shopify store using the Trustoo Chrome extension.

Step 1: Access Importer Dashboard​

  • Log in to your Shopify admin
  • Navigate to the Trustoo.io Importer app
  • Select "Importer" from the left sidebar menu
  • Find your product in the list or use the search bar to locate it

Step 2: Select Shopee as Import Source​

  • Click the "Import reviews" dropdown next to your product
  • Select "Shopee" from the dropdown menu options

Step 3: Navigate to Shopee Product​

  • Open the Shopee product page containing reviews in a new browser tab
  • Ensure the Trustoo extension is installed and connected

Step 4: Activate the Extension​

  • Click the Trustoo extension icon (in the side bar)
  • The extension will scan the page and detect product reviews

Step 5: Configure Import Settings​

A popup window titled "Trustoo.io Product Reviews" will appear:

  • Verify your store information at the top
  • Select the target product from the dropdown menu

Import Options​

  • Number of Imports: Choose how many reviews to import
  • Content Options:
    • Select "All reviews" or apply specific filtering
  • Compliance:
    • Check the "Review Import Terms and Conditions" checkbox
    • Review notice about using reviews from other platforms
    • Ensure compliance with relevant laws

Step 6: Complete the Import​

  • Click the "Create import task" button
  • System will begin importing selected reviews
  • Wait for the import process to complete

  • Verify the authenticity of imported reviews
  • Ensure reviews align with your product
  • Check for any language or content issues
  • Moderate imported reviews if necessary
